Caritas Australia is the Catholic agency for overseas aid and development. It helps people to help themselves, regardless of race, political beliefs, gender or religion and belongs to an international network of 154 organisations in 198 countries and territories.
It works with the local people of a particular country in all of its programs. Caritas calls these local agencies 'Partners'.
Catholic Mission has two complimentary tasks - to inform the people of Australia about Mission in the world today and to raise money desperately needed for missionary work in materially poor countries.

The Bishop's Office, Chancery or Curia supports the mission of the Church through service to the parishes and agencies of the Diocese in a range of communication, pastoral, liturgical, financial and administrative activities.
The Tribunal is a service of the Diocese of Wollongong to assist with the pastoral care of divorced and remarried persons seeking to have their marriage recognised in the Church, divorced persons seeking to remarry, and divorced persons seeking clarification of their standing in the Church.
The Wollongong Tribunal operates as part of the Regional Tribunal of the Catholic Church for NSW & ACT.
